Really 38000? I know it’s not the right kills but seriously why 38000? Why not 10000 or 15000? How do some people have the patience to do it

You dont have to one-man it either. If your Company is grinding together, it’ll be easier. Have people spread out across multiple games and/or time zones and grind that way.
If you get on the attacking side and make it to the core, sit out to one of the sides with any ranges weapon and pick off the Marines that spawn on the sides of the base. Theres a bunch inside the Fortress on Summit too.

Thats why you have the ranged weapon. You can stand off to the side, out of line of sight from the defenders, who tend to hide around the corners leading into the core or the exterior wall of the core area (on the right or left, depending on which side your on).
There’s a raised walkway on the outside of the core room that Marines spawn on. You can pick them off with a Sentinel BR or a DMR.
If you don’t have the middle base in Apex the marines that spawn there are easy to pick off.

This. Just be careful not to draw attention to yourself and kill Spartans. Once somebody knows where you’re hiding they’ll constantly try to kill you.

The same is true for either armory; just spawn a wasp/phaeton and stick to cover. You can periodically pop out take out anyone on top of the armory and usually a marine or three to boot.
Just going to say it’s really not that hard. Once I got 40+ marine kills in one Warzone match.
Marine farming is relaxing…I’m sad that my company is finished with it.
We have a guy in our company who’s a champion at farming marines… he’s been doing it daily for the past month or so, trying to hit 70+ of them each day… and he’s crushing it, we’ll finish that commendation before headshots! Haha
Marine Kills are probably just as annoying as the Mongoose Destroyer commendation or the Splatter Commendation. I can never grasp the most opportune moment to complete them.
If your team manages to triple cap the bases, slap on an Invis and sneak into the back of the enemy’s base. If the enemy gets an armory, you’ll be locked in the back with respawning marines. The other team will constantly respawn at their newly acquired Armory and you’ll have free reign.

Lol, I was able to get like 160 a day when I farmed marines. Lol

Thing is when I play no one in my Spartan company wants to play with me so I do it solo

If you’re gonna plan on it, you need a silenced BR/DMR and the radar mod. You can’t change your weapons at their REQ stations, but you CAN refill your own weapons.
I know what you mean OP, it’s ridiculous! Commendations shouldn’t be things like this. When the player stops playing the game and just does something like “sit back and just shoot Marines” that isn’t right. It means people are getting matched with people that aren’t really playing the game type which is hurting their team.
Now I’m not knocking anyone who does this in any game mode as this is the fault of 343I not the player. God, I still have nightmares of kids running around with PP in Halo 4 trying to get kills… Brutal! Lol I hope in the future if commendations come back, they are more of a general nature and can be obtained in multiple game modes.

Marine kills is the only one we really need lol Everything else we’re getting no problem. There are 17 of us at the moment.
