What’s the highest amount of marines you’ve ever killed in a single warzone game?
My spartan company (Death Company) is getting close to unlocking the helmet but it was evident we were lagging behind big time with marine kills as, if you look at our stats, we play 70% arena and 30% WZ. Hard to get marine kills when you don’t play WZ evidently lol
So what we did is we decided to hold a competition. Whoever kills the most marines in a single game by the time we’re done the marine kill commendation gets a 3D printed trophy made by Lazarus215. He previously made a trophy for a grifball tournament we had ages ago so he offered to make a trophy for the competition as well. The 2nd and 3rd place holders get a little keychain.
We went from averaging about 500-1000 marines in a normal week to getting 1700 in a single day the one day last week, pretty crazy jump.
So far the 1st place holder, r3spawn3d, is at 90 marine kills in a single game with snoper77 in 2nd place at 85 and Bakemak3r in 3rd with 70.
What’s the highest amount you’ve gotten or know of someone who’s gotten a crazy number?
EDIT: Since this is helping us with the commendation so much and is getting everyone fired up so much we might do the same thing, 3D printed trophy and all, for spartan charges. That one is giving us trouble as well.
Me and my friend, one day, sick of getting killed by spartans, decided to camp marines. My friend went in and out of the enemy bases, killing marines, over and over again until he was left with 56 marine kills. I covered him and got 29 spartan kills. That really turned our day around!
I absolutely hate this Commendation and it should not be in the game. Not Everyone likes Warzone 343I!! At least put marines in firefight, Would help a lot. Remember, this is all a simulation so why can’t we fight Marines as well. I’m only in my 30s for killing Marines but I barely play Warzone and if I do it’s firefight as I’m not a fan of Warzone.
Shameless plug here, If anyone does play Warzone a decent amount and gets Marine kills and doesn’t have the Achilles Helmet or armor and wants to join my company please message me. We’re super close to the armour and very far along and many of the other categories but the Marines kill needs work.
I broke 70 once when my company was grinding for that commendation. I thought that was pretty impressive until another player in our company hit 116. (Apparently, his team triple capped the opponent fairly early, but then he got caught in the opponent’s base when they recaptured an armory…so he stayed in their base and just killed marines…pretty funny.)

That is a lot! It’s been a while since I counted however one day I realized I was about 70 marine kills until marine kill commendations. Slaughtered 55 in one round, and then the remaining twenty or so in another round.

Damn that’s nuts. Our members have tried that tactic a few times but we always get caught early on

Yeah not everyone likes WZ but the whole point is to get people to play everything haha
I feel your pain regarding the commendation for your company lol
It’s been kinda fun sneaking around getting Marine kills. I was in a home base for a huge section of a game but only got 50. Killing at garages on certain maps seems to be the best method I’ve used.

Yeah, I might have bookmarked it but at the time i couldn’t save vids or captures. Theater was so buggy.
Looks like your SC will finish soon. Why does Road Trip & Marines kills always seem to be one of the last commos to finish? lol
