Would it be possible to have the marines NOT stand under the drop off platform when acquiring vehicles? It really bothers me how they dive into their inevitable doom.

Hard to imagine 343 didn’t come across that when testing out the game.
marine AI seems unfinished in general. they’re completely unable to drive vehicles too.

I think this is more of a logical issue. Since it’s open world and not linear, it’s hard to program. The AI needs to know “where” to drive and “how” to get there. You can set map markers but they aren’t very precise.
