This is fairly annoying. The ODST bots, when I’ve seen them, still have a negative K/D but do get kills. I don’t see Marine bots getting any kills. When they do it’s just 1 kill. In Quick Play I haven’t seen a single ODST bot. Has anyone else? I’ve spotted them in other modes like fiesta.
I was defending on Launch Site 1-Flag and a bot grabbed the sniper at the start of the match. He then got splattered by a ghost after firing at least twice. Really sunk our early-round chances.
Also, I had a glitch where I couldn’t shoot after being hijacked. I had to switch weapons or scope in to shoot again.
It depends on skill in your team i guess. I just had a team slayer match with 3 noobs on my team, while the other team had 2 ODST bots. We lost because those bots where way better then those teammates of me. I was the only one going positive on my team and was the 2nd best player (based on KDA) in that match, only beaten by one of those bots who had a field day killing my bad teammates…
To be honest (i only had to complete a match and not win) i was secretly laughing at how my teammates did, even though it got me in 1v2 and 1v3 situations very often.
Perhaps 343 should just make the bot difficulty dependend on the skill levels in that match? I can understand why my nooby teammates had a hard time, since those ODST bots can just snipe with an AR from across the map, while those teammates of me didn’t know how and when to manouvre and just didn’t have the same level of aiming as those bots.
