I always liked how the Marines looked, and I think it would be cool if we could wear their armor! Like still be a spartan, but wearing Marine armor with your face showing!

The Nightfall and ODST MJOLNIR variants are about as close to this as you’ll ever get.

well Reach had the Military Police (MP) Variant which was exactly what the Marines wore. The helmet was just closed off and given a visor and the shoulder pads were enlarged to fit Spartan armor. It only lacked a chest piece, but I actually really liked that armor.in fact I remember using the helmet with the multi-threat shoulders for a while there in Reach. I wouldn’t say it is impossible for them to give us marine Spartan armor again, but the marine armor is so radically different now that it probably wouldn’t transition well. Well actually, the black armor that they wear could do it if I recall it right, but the lighter colored armor that looks similar to today’s armor isn’t very befitting of a Spartan.

I have a feeling we will see military police for outer colony missions and halo 4 ones again because the infinity will play a role. I just wish those halo 3 marine helmet, shoulder plates, and chest plates would come back, they were fantastic.

Well the thing about that is that me, and many other people would love to be able to customize our Spartans face like COD Ghost had that option!

Probably safe to assume that they’re going to use the Halo 4 designs.

Hopefully the colors are more in-line with past games (grey/camo BDUs with brown/olive drab armor plates) instead of the strange green, red, and white outfits from H4. ONI personnel should keep those all black outfits though.
Also female Marines and generic Spartan IVs should show up. There were none in H4.

… I would welcome a spin off game in which you can, but I would never want to as a Spartan. Having a open fae helmet kind of make it redundant for zero atmosphere and hostile environment ombat.
