even with updated graphics, Halsey should look like an older version of Cortana. This old lady doesn’t even look like an older version of Halo 4’s Cortana. so, it has to be Parangosky.
I agree with you hal0 m4n. And FC Quiksilver, I’m not really sure where you are coming from but the woman in the ViDoc is definitely not young, so I’m not exactly sure who is saying she is young. I think it is Parangosky, definitely. I don’t think they are going to try and introduce any new characters past Del Rio and Lasky. Plus, why would they be trying to develop her character so much in The Thursday War?

Yeah you are definitely right. She would look like an older version of Cortana. Halsey isn’t even that old, so it has to be Parangosky.

If it actually is, then this will open up another interesting story line in Halo 4. Parangosky will try to turn John away from Halsey.

Can’t be her, parangosky was described as this extremely old woman, the woman in the video seems around 60/70, parangosky is more around the 150 year old mark :B but seriously, the woman looks the same age as Halsey, it might just be some more aesthetic changes, like cortana and chief. Everyone looks different and everything looks different.
don’t rely on reach for an accurate portrayal of Halsey, we saw her for about 30 seconds. 343 has made a notable amount of changes to the way things look, from guns, to vehicles to characters, so keep that in mind 
Ehhhhh I will agree to disagree. If you read the intro to The Thursday War, Parangosky says herself that she is 90. Plus, if she is the director of ONI, she probably looks younger than 90. I guess we will just have to wait for Nov 6th to find out.

That could be why Chief walked away from Parangosky then turned back to face her in the ViDoc. Maybe he was annoyed with what she was saying. Idk.
I think it is possibly Parangosky in the video. One reason is obviously that she is pretty old looking. That can be debated as artistic changes or whatever to Halsey I guess. My main reason is this:
In the Amazon preview of The Thursday War, Parangosky says she will be on the Infinity. Coincidence?

Any one who says THAT is young has obviously never seen a woman over 70. They slowly transform into vultures, attitude and all.

Once I read that, I automatically jumped to the conclusion that she is the old lady in the ViDoc. Plus, I don’t think 343 would blatantly show her in the video, eventhough her name is mentioned.

Yes we know this. Yet she aged that much over 5 years?!?! Now, don’t get me wrong, things change and 343i might have felt like they needed to make her look aged.
If you have read Glasslands, then you know she has been arrested and that Parangosky has declared her dead to the rest of humanity. Therefore, stress and loneliness could be a reason for the apparent aging.However, I do not believe that the video game company would make her look that much older, almost to the point of being unrecognizable. Agree?
That is Halsey. Parangosky does not wear a labcoat. The Admiral is weeks away from retirement and would have no reason to be aboard Infinity 4.5 years or so in the future. Also, Parangosky uses a cane and I don’t see this person using one.

That’s because bungie made Reach. No one looks the same in 4. The chief has different armor. Cortana looks different. It’s just artistic license. She looked like she was 45 in Reach. 343 is doing things differently. Maybe they just decided to make her look closer to her age.

I hate that woman. Hopefully she gets her due in the books or in the games. Although, the woman we see in the ViDoc looks more like Halsey.
