You asked if they were wrong. I said yes.

Then you disregarded it.

This forum community is terrible. I don’t know why I came here in the first place.

I…did?

> And you try telling the hundreds of thousands that still play they are wrong.

> Deal?

The only question I see to you, is if you wouldn’t mind telling all the people still playing they are wrong.

Reading is fundamental kids! Stay in school.

Yeah update is horrible and has me worried for Halo 4

They removed Squad Slayer!?

WHY!!??

Yes I don’t mind telling everyone still playing this game that they are wrong.

If I had the time, equipment, and a guarantee that it would actually change anything I would make a giant video explanation that would go over every facet of why Halo: Reach is a bad Halo game, why it was dropped by almost everyone with experience in previous Halo games, and why they are playing it.

But I don’t care enough to actually do that.

I don’t have the resources to do that.

And even if I did do make something like that and everyone playing now had to watch it, it wouldn’t change anything.

Most of the people playing right now don’t care at all about how the game plays. Some are too young to understand and others just don’t care one way or the other.

The only reason I care right now is because this game started getting better and these updates are pushing it back towards being bad.

But in the end I am the one who has lost this discussion since you will completely disregard everything I have posted.

Well, if you don’t care. That seems to be your problem. Seems like you don’t want to make an effort.

But lets leave the fate of Halo, in well, the hands of the people in charge of Halo and see what happens.

So what you’re saying is, “No worries. It’s not like they made the game better and then went back and started making it worse again.”?

^ I don’t know man.

> So what you’re saying is, “No worries. It’s not like they made the game better and then went back and started making it worse again.”?

Nope. Saying 343 grew a pair and have started to make the game the way THEY see fit. Perhaps if you think on the contrary, you can apply for a job there, and show them what they are doing wrong.

As I see it, they are breaking a cycle :

“Game sucks! Change it!”
"sigh okay.*
“Game still sucks! Change it more!”
“Fine, whatever.”
“Make more playlists TU, game sucks! Change it!”
“Alright, if you say so.”
“But game still …”
“No, -Yoink- you. We’re the devs, this is our game, we’re handling things OUR way now. Adapt or move on.”

That’s hilarious.

I can see why no one with a brain wants to come to this forsaken place.

In all honesty, post whatever the hell you want. Ruin the game back to release Reach if you feel like it. It doesn’t matter anymore. You have already shown a complete disregard for the quality ofbyour experience and I have already explained my position to the best of my ability.

Not wasting my time doing a back and forth like that ever again.

Well then you have yourself a pleasant evening, and a better tomorrow. Maybe when you wake up, you’ll be over this whole “Things aren’t going my way, everything is horrible!” mindset.

These forums are not representative of the wider community. 343s own in game metrics bear this out.

You always say this, but that’s not a good indexation of what the fans want at all. Whenever you say that it makes no sense.

These forums have become packed with TU sycophants over the months, perhaps from a certain other place on the interwebs. Occasional mysterious waves of brand new accounts getting stuck right into the TU debate without so much as a “hello im new here”. There is disproportionate representation here for one side of the community compared to what in game metrics suggest.

I think 343i see that now.

How would they measure these said metrics? Is there a little in game tab that you click to say what you dont like, or simply people playing?

That’s what happens when you blindly adhere to what the ‘casuals’ in Reach want. Of course they’re not going to come on the Forums and complain if they like the changes, let alone if they even notice a difference…

Those being completely ignored by every piece of feedback given regarding the only ranked playlist on the other hand come here to voice their concerns because they see potential for a competitive Reach.

I love how as soon as the kid’s who can’t handle bleed-through whined to 343 about their lack of ability to adapt to the changes got their way but god forbid someone ask for changes to Arena. That’s blasphemous and it is unreasonable for 343 to be expected to listen to them!!!

They collect data from the pre game voting process. They did so over 2 weeks earlier this month in Team Slayer and saw there was significant dislike for the TU.

In game metrics will always be a much better window into the mind of the community than any silly thread or forum poll on this site ever will.

What the hell is Super Slayer? A name like that is just insulting to me. I’m not ten. I don’t need these superfluous adjectives to tell me if a playlist is good or not. Squad Slayer was perfectly fine. Removing it to have another 4v4 playlist with the TU in it is just a terrible decision for Matchmaking.

And I have heard the exact opposite.

I beg to differ. The people that actually take the time to come here and discuss what is wrong with the game and how to fix it are a better indication. And you seem to do nothing but downplay all of us here with some undeserved sense of pride.
