This?

I’m sure you won’t be the only one!

It’s all clear now!!! Arena is represented by the number ‘7’ on the 6-sided dice!!!

That’s why they can’t possibly do anything right!

It honestly can’t be that hard… They added TU settings to Arena and that didn’t seem to hard. I’m sure as hell if they were competent enough they could remove jet pack in a flash…

I do like this feedback.

Anywho, the March update really does need to be changed before release. Barely anybody on other forums, who are representing a larger portion of the community than your forums, like the new update. As a the new drivers of Halo, your job is to please the majority of the population.

NEWS FLASH: Your forums =/= a large portion of the population

The update is a joke, and 343 have a terrible sense of humor.

You guys are still just making assumptions until you visit 343 and learn or if they put out a detailed video on how they do it.That’s all i’m saying.

If you have sport car enthusiasts (ie TU supports) and high-mlieage low-emission enthusiasts (ie Vanilla supporters), and try to cram them into a CRZ (hybrid “sport” car; it has like 100HP and a tight suspension, that’s about all that makes it “sporty”), you’re going to piss everyone off.

343 just needs to commit. Bring back the derp so those of us who love Halo can just have an answer and leave until H4. Or stay true to their roots and commit to the TU. Just pick one, I think we’re all tired of arguing anyway.

Or just keep the two separate, have half the playlist appease the skilled Halo players and the other half appease the others. Then we all get what we want and no one has to play a game that they barely like.

Honestly what would be wrong with that? Give us our practically MLG settings in like 5 playlists and leave us alone.

Oh and OP:

I agree with everything except I think this may be worth reading in regards to your definitions of “Casual” and “competitive”, just for further clarification to those reading.

To be followed by a flood of complaints in this forum from those who wanted Jet Pack to stay and can’t understand why there was a sudden removal when all that had to be done was to fix the [fill in the blanks]…

Added Heavy variant for BTB- Great success!

Removed Squad Slayer- Epic Fail

Still waiting for some updates for Invasion.

I made a topic about the bleedthrough dilemma but it was locked :/.

Anyway, I’m indifferent about most of the fixes to Reach. I honestly didn’t care for Anniv. Squad and Squad Slayer, and, even though I love evade, I can settle for sprint. But the removal of TU bleedthrough is a huge mistake.

Bleedthrough makes Reach feel more like the other Halos. It solved the double pummel problem for the most part, and the rest of the TU made sure armor lockers finally got what they deserved.

Bleedthrough was the main part of the TU, in my opinion (that and reduced/zero bloom). Without it, the TU might as well be removed entirely. And many of your “fans”, 343, don’t want to settle with Vanilla Reach again. Why anyone wants to play with 100% bloom, un-nerfed AL, and no bleedthrough is beyond me.

Your forum is not the limit of your fanbase, 343. Listening to only the Waypoint goers will cause Reach, and possibly Halo as a whole, to crash and burn.
Edit: Lol @ the guy below me.

No, the march update is brilliant. Getting rid of glitchy broken bleedthrough is one of the smartest things 343i can do.

> No, the march update is brilliant. Getting rid of glitchy broken bleedthrough is one of the smartest things 343i can do.

Oh, ok. So you’re okay if we go to PUMMEL + PUMMEL= 3-SHOT + PUMMEL + PUMMEL

Bleedthrough gave a spice of life to CQC, instead of the limited weapons that only work at close range. The only weapons that are CQC only show up in limited games. The AR does not count as it works the best at mid-range. All players will forced to do a double pummel for a kill in CQC. With Bleedthrough, you have twooptions. Not anymore.

> the only people crying about bleedthru are people who refused to adapt.

The belief that everyone opposed to (“crying about” is an unnecessary dysphemism) bleedthrough is a person who refuses to adapt is a canard, just as is the assertion that only unskilled players dislike bleedthrough. We opponents of bleedthrough have given cogent, logical arguments that you have superciliously dismissed or ignored or failed to understand.

> ha
> lets cater the game to people who would rather b*tch and moan about stuff that they could solve by just refraining from charging in for melees. that sounds like a really good idea, fatal.

That is another unfair and inaccurate characterization. My concerns can’t be resolved by refraining from charging in for melees, which I don’t do anyway.

Love how everyone on here who always complaining claim, “They are the true Halo fans”. Yet the people who keep playing Reach, instead of coming on these forums and complaining everytime they lose a match, aren’t.

If this is thrusted towards me, in no place did I state I was “a true Halo fan”. I stated the truth and why it needs to be changed. Once it’s released to the public, we can’t stop it. Those who “adapt” will have to “re-adapt” back. This is why I am pushing so hard to get it changed.

Why are they going to remove evade for spartans?
I mean what’s so bad about it I never find it overpowered or anything.
Well if they remove evade I guess people are going back to spamming armor lock… Great.
