I hope they do reopen the TU beta, and I hope it’s something like this but with just the DMR ZB (Blooming 3sk Magnum/ZB 4sk DMR). That would rock my socks.
I would love to know why Arena was given the shaft for this months update as well…

Can we trade health packs for bleedthrough? I mean, if you can get the health to regen all the way by itself, that’d be great, but I’d be willing to carry some scratches around for a match if it meant keeping bleedthrough.

This. I fail to see any logic in the whole update. I thought it was be blatantly obvious by now that the players who prefer the TU hate everything that makes vanilla vanilla (f.e. camo, al, bloom, double melee, ar rushing, bad maps etc.). And yet they trash the best social playlist in the game and replace it with a vanilla ts clone…
Somebody needs to start a petition to bring back squad, with no camo, no reflection and dmr starts.
I really hope its a very early April Fools joke.
It is nothing to do with casuals, people have opinions. One person having a opinion does not class him as inferior or superior.
I don’t see why the mods don’t crack down on this.
I love all the changes in the March update, especially taking out the horribly broken bleedthrough from the TU. keep up the good work 343i.

Removal of Bleedthrough: Very happy. I don’t approve of Sprint Bashing, but I’m happy now that my have my shield warning of headshot & melee instant kill again.

Removal of Evade: Unhappy. What makes you think we Spartans don’t wanna roll around?

Tweaks to Infection Maps: As long as exploit areas like Bedlam roof edges safety blocked, I’m happy.
The rest: Doesn’t affect me on the whole.

I really like how you guys are still ignoring arena. For 9 months, yes, 9 whole mother effing months the community has all been asking for the same changes.
Remove jetpack.
Remove swordbase, reflection, and uncaged.
Why is it so hard for you to fulfil these simple requests that will fix the ONLY competitive playlist. I don’t understand how you can ignore this FOR NINE -Yoink!- MONTHS. 343 is pathetic. Halo 4 will suck.
Sorry for yet another one of these threads but I have to say what was so bad about the update is not any of the changes in particular but 343’s failure to adequately explain them.
Evade has been part of Reach for a year. It’s many people’s favorite AA. But now it’s gone. Why? No explanation.
Squad Slayer was very popular. Now it’s gone. Why? To appease the Vanilla lovers by allowing regular Team Slayer to continue existing and give us “Super Slayer” as a replacement. It’s not a replacement. There’s no party restrictions and there’s Armor Lock. But of course, not a word about that.
Infection and Grifball updated. Great news if you’re ten years old. What about the Invasion updates we were promised a month ago? What about the fixes to Arena people have wanted for months? Not a mention of those.
Bleedthrough removed. Why? I’m on the fence about that decision, but having it removed this way doesn’t make any sense. “We’ve listened to your feedback?” I thought the TU was the product of community feedback?
Not a mention of better DLC integration. Not a mention of quitters.
It’s just arrogant and rude how little they listen to the community and how casually they ignore the most desired and easiest fixes.

i think the update isn´t that bad but i just don´t know why the squad playlists were removed…
I don’t see me playing the Arena ever again.
Team objective is one of those playlist’s that needs better maps and more game types, yet you guys ignore our requests and instead make it a “5v5”, which does really do anything apart from make search times longer and make’s maps even more frustrating to play.
Let’s hope that the April update is better.

Like a typical TU supporter, you’re putting your hate in the wrong spot.
Changes like this come from the likes of GrifballHub, or MLG. 343 checks them out and dumps them into those playlists per their request.
That’s completely different than how other changes are managed.
Removal of BT and evade. I disagreed, but I can live with it.
Removal of squad slayer? SADFJAWOEJUWOJ1!?!?!!?!?
Nevermind that decision is based off of Team Slayer players voting because we were too busy playing Squad to play that list. Nevermind it’s one of the most popular and enjoyable lists out there. Nevermind that it was the only playlist that essentially made social matchmaking bearable.
I honestly died a little inside when I read that and quite frankly wanted to snap my Reach disc.
