March on Stormbreak is broken

Because who ever kills Lochagos and controls the fortress will dominate unless the other team kills all other AI bosses. The fortress is extremely hard to liberate from the enemy team as there are only 3 ways in or out on top and the bottom floor only has cover near the entrances or above the pit. Unlike the Garage, vehicles can spawn INSIDE the fortess, just like your homebase. Basically, it’s almost like having two homebases if you control it. Also, out of all 3 default warzone maps this one is the worst to use a tank on. This is because there are only two lanes and the only way to cross the “road” in a tank is to squeeze it thru a place where you can easily be hijacked (including the ice caverns). Outside the fortess there is little cover you can use in a tank to avoid spartan lasers, rockets, binary rifles, etc.

Having the 2x armory force the enemy to defend from 2 direction. It’s not like it procures an advantage over the boss as well. You can kill the banshee from both armory and go for the warden too. At some point, defending 2 sides is hard and you’ll get back the fortress if not, it doesn’t mean you absolutely lose

I wouldn’t say it’s broken. But it does require a certain strategy to retake the Fortress.

I have played a plenty of games where my team controls the frigging fortress, opposite teams controls both armories and kills every boss (because they spwan close to the armories) and we lose so easily. Don’t know what u talking about.

Stormbreak is not broken at all. I’ve had plenty of matches where my team has controlled the armory and still lost, mostly because everyone tries to stay in there to protect it and forgets to protect other bases or go after bosses because we didn’t want to lose such a valuable spot. Killing Lochagos does give you a nice starting advantage but it is really easy to match those points if you get stuck in the armory and can’t kill any of the other bosses that spawn. I will agree that scorpions are not suited for this map, but there are plenty of things like warthogs and ghosts that work really well.

i find often that the team that rushes lochagos does not cap the fortress. i have a strat down to solo him, which lets us focus on the cap though
