Who else is getting started on this? By marathon I mean playing the games starting with Reach and going to 4. With of course the option of revisiting some of the reading material to catch up on lore, as well as HuntTheTruth!
There’s plenty to keep us entertained while building up excitement for the release in 2 months. What will you be doing to prep for it?
I’m going to go back and play Halo 3 and 4 again then listen to hunt the truth I’ve already beat them all but its still too fun.
Desperately hoping to get an Xbox One before it comes out :(. Other than that, I’ve gotta catch up on all the new books! Along with Hunt the Truth in a few weeks.

Play through the entire campaign, most likely on legendary but possibly on heroic, and possibly co-op with my roommate but it’s possible that he’ll be out of the country at that time.
Once campaign is finished, go into custom games to get a feel for the multiplayer maps, where items spawn, etc.
I’ll be definitely waiting to start matchmaking until my roommate returns so we can queue-up as a group.
At the moment, I’m playing through 1-4 on legendary on MCC to get that special armor for Halo 5. I’ve beaten 3 and 4 solo, and I’m currently on The Library in 1, which quite frankly I’m dreading to start.

I hope youre talking about MCC because if this is about Halo 5 you may be pretty dissapointed.
Playing through Reach on 360, then 1 to 4 on TMCC. Will be doing it on Heroic and then first playthrough of 5 will be on heroic, followed by some legendary
Already played through the games on legendary for the 100th time recently. Kinda got me burnt out on those games now. Ready for some new Halo action!!!

No Halo wars love?
I’m working on MCC achievements (slow burn, no hurry at all, probably done in 2017, literally) and I need to finish up Spartan Strike on Windows and Windows Phone. That will give me 100% of all Halo achievements (assuming I knock out Halo 5, which… well, duh (: ).
Also, I’m reading the books in chronological story order (not the order they released). I’m about halfway done currently on the one taking place between Halo 1 and Halo 2. The books are oh so good.
