so anyone know when we are getting new maps cause the issue im having is playing on the same maps repeatedly it really becomes dull after so long
As of right now there are no plans for new maps, ske7ch did mention that the team knows the community wants some and could look into it.

they should look into it that’s disappointing and unacceptable really how do they expect a game like this to only survive on the standard launch maps? its gets boring after having played 3 games on the same exact map
Yea the maps are getting boring, not to mention a couple are terrible. I play 2v2 and some maps are nice and small while others are gigantic and takes forever to get anywhere. Would like more elevation maps and maps where empty bases have some type of enemy to battle rather than just everything being open.
I would like to see a winter map

That’s what I don’t get, I’d say there’s enough players left that would pay money for content that’s a fair price and still give the developers a profit. Maps don’t even take much time or money to make, I know because I’ve made them for other RTS games.
An RTS I play on the PC, got an update the other day that added 6 new campaign missions, a new tier of unit and 5 maps for free. That game sold way less than Halo Wars 2 and has a far smaller budget.
This, for me, is a deal breaker. I don’t play as much as I would like, but I am already itching for some new maps. ESPECIALLY BLITZ. I’m done with Blitz because I’m so tired of the saaaammmmeeee mundane match over and over and over… Which is really a shame because after playing it on the beta, I thought for sure it’d be bigger than what it currently is… i.e. more maps, more game modes, etc… I was excited, but not anymore…
With multiplayer, I don’t play a ton either, but I do like to battle some AI in skirmish whenever I can… Even doing that for a few hours each weak has gotten old… I like all the different game modes, but the maps are getting stale. I can’t imagine how some of you others feel that play about 100x more than I do…
I’ve held out hope, stayed positive, and optimistic through all that’s been going on since launch, but like I said above… I think this is a deal breaker for me… I’ll hold out a little longer to see if they actually do add maps, but for now the search begins for something else to take up my free time…
Darn… Shouldn’t have spent that $20 on blitz packs a couple months ago…
How about a forge mod, and people could share their custom maps,missions and mods?
No new maps coming confirmed by s7etch, but if there is enough of an outcry, maybe, JUST MAYBE we’ll get more than a re-skin in the future.
