Hello all! 343 you have done a really great job and we know you are trying your best to balance and please the entire halo wars 2 crowd and halo 5 crowd. I imagine it can be very difficult because a lot of people want different things, but as far as the balancing updates are going it is getting really great! I have a suggestion that might be impossible or maybe even terrible but I want to throw it out there and see what people think about it; it has the potential to mix up the game and make it like totally new and even better than it is now! Yes, the maps. Seeing the new maps resembling the same style/configuration as the existing maps, I want to throw this in the air. Although there might be plenty of things that need addressing, this might be a thing that doubles the halo wars 2 population according to my graph chart. Not just differently varied maps like the people want, but creating a completely different style of game play as well like removing the power nodes on some maps. That would create different tactics and interesting rushes and turtles, and for all you turtle lovers out there haha. Imagine some maps with expandable bases without power nodes and some maps without expandable bases with power nodes then maps without expandable bases and no power nodes. It does not eliminate tier one at all there are still opportunities for rushes and counter rushes! Anyways tell me what you think I could be completely off the rails but this is a dream of mine. I appreciate halo wars 2 and thanks 343!
You know what would be cool if there were maps with a few remaining believers of the Great Journey holding a base, or Flood bases. It would be cool if they also had a map with eight power nodes, but their was a Retriever Sentinel defending the area or one with three nodes but income was faster from them.

Wow, yes that would be beautiful too! Really spicing up the game like this would turn this taco bell bean burrito(which is delicious) into a bean burrito with extra cheese and extra red sauce!

hahahah nice metaphor, not really a reptilian food but yes. I agree with you but I don’t know how possible it is for 343 to get something like this done, I think it’s possible if enough people want it.

Of course lizards eat burritos :D. Yeah I don’t know either if its possible but definitely worth suggesting just in case… plus the potential crowd of people that will get lured to this would grow because if the different styles that work instead of one set procedure strategy.
