So, I will be the first to admit I’m not the best with the sniper rifles, but it’s fun to play a game of snipes from time to time. So when I logged onto Halo this last weekend and saw the weekend playlist was snipers, I was excited.
Until I played.
I get that this was a 4v4 playlist, but playing snipes on Fathom and Truth and the like are pointless. Very little actual sniping is going on because these are maps designed for much shorter range weapons (or at most one single long range weapon). Instead, the matches were full of failed no-scopes and beatdowns and Spartan charges.
Next time this playlist comes up, I’d love to see these played on the BTB maps, perhaps with larger teams. These small maps are terrible for everybody having long range weapons.
