Maps to bring back - build the list!

Hey guys, one of the coolest things Bungie did with Halo: Reach was rebuild some of the older maps and put them into rotation. Lets make a list of maps we’d like to see added back!

My maps:

  • Lockout/Guardian
  • Ivory Tower
  • Zanzibar
  • Blood Gulch
  • Beaver Creek
  • Ascension
  • Boarding Action
  • Powerhouse
  • Midship
  • The Pit
  • Sanctuary

What maps would you want to see return?

Containment - my favorite map, tempted to remake myself.
Gaurdian
Chiron (FFA only)

As new maps or Forge remakes? I would prefer Forge, lest CA “mess up” the classics and we have to hear about it on 100 million threads.

I’d really like an Asylum/Sanctuary remake.

Also, while I do not care for it, a lot of people were huge fans of Zealot.

I’d always want the original map, but the remakes Bungie did were pretty solid too.

Sanctuary was an awesome map.

I hated anything to do with Ivory Tower and it’s reach remake.

The pit would be fantastic for H4 I think!

Ivory Tower was just a nice map in Halo 2. The Reach remake wasn’t too bad either, especially for Infection.

Death Island! from halo pc

Here’s my list:

  1. Sandtrap
  2. Sandtrap
  3. Sandtrap
  4. Sandtrap
  5. Death Island

I just want Lockout and Guardian.

Well, words can’t possibly begin to describe the level of pure ecstasy I’d feel if ALL of the old Halo maps were remade and released as one big package (save for maybe the Reach maps), but since it won’t happen here’s my much more reasonable list of 8. Is 8 remade maps too much? I don’t think so.

  1. Terminal (H2)
  2. Beaver Creek (H2)
  3. Rat Race (H:CE)
  4. Death Island (H:CE)
  5. Avalanche (H3)
  6. High Ground (H3)
  7. Sandtrap (H3)
  8. Last Resort (H3)

Lockout
Guardian
Longest
Narrows
Boarding Action
Ascension - with the center tower thing that actually rotates
Zanzibar
Turf
The Pit
Ivory Tower
and I really liked Anchor 9 in Reach

I love the smaller maps. I feel like there needs to be a lot more in H4

Midship!
Lockout!
Turf!
Atleast make those three

lol afro jt!!! guardian narrows and warlock

EVERY SINGLE ARENA STYLE MAP FROM THE PAST FROM ALL 3 games(Reach doesnt exist)
Halo is and always will be an ARENA STYLE FPS. and this is where Halo 4 online falls short. Haven and Adrift are the only maps I even feel like are halo maps. The rest feel like CoD in the future. Aka, un needed clutter, -Yoink- placed randomly everywhere ect.

This game needs to go back to its fundamental style or it will die*

*more so than it already has

  1. HIGH GROUND!!!

  2. Last Resort

  3. Sand Trap

  4. Construct

  5. Lockout

  6. Pit Stop

  7. Avalanche for big team! With the HORNET

  8. Rat’s Nest!

  9. Narrows

  10. Blood Gulch

  11. Board Walk

  12. Sword Base

  13. Reflection

  14. Countdown

Lockout and Blood Gulch are two all of my friends agreed upon.

I love containment. my favorite BTB map besides Relic.

  1. NARROWS Remake

  2. SANDTRAP Remake

  3. BOARDING ACTION ( SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR ) - Make one side the UNSC Infinity and the other side a boarding platform. You can traverse the gap via man-cannons ???

  4. CONTAINMENT REMAKE OR SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR

  5. BURIAL MOUNDS ( SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR )

  6. COLLOSSUS ( SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR )

  7. WATERWORKS ( Direct Remake with improvements )

  8. Warlock ( spiritual successor with proper scale to support sprint )

One that I don’t see mentioned often but was a TON of fun and I believe would fit very well even with armor abilities is Standoff (from the Halo 3 DLC). GREAT map for anything from BTB to Objective games.

Also, a BIG +1 for Burial Mounds. A classic.
