The entire concept of this suggestion is that there should be a map pack that has maps that are voted upon by the community. Although a “best maps” map pack was attempted in CE anniversary and reach, the main problem was that the maps only included CE maps. What I believe is that there should be a map pack where the community is given a list of available maps and votes on the favorite ones. from there, the top, say seven maps are chosen and then remastered then implemented into the Halo 4 engine. for instance, say the community voted for forge world 1.0 as their top map, that map could be remade then bought with other awesome maps in a map pack.

Timberland was from Halo PC
Headlong was from Halo 2
Battle Canyon used the Halo 2 layout of Battle/Beaver Creek.
Blood Gulch, Desolation, Tombstone, and Gemini from H2.
Sand Trap from H3.
Sword Base from HR.
That’s all I can think of right now. I’m sure there are others. I basicly like bigger maps with not allot of cover. Most maps in H4 are trash which is why I don’t play much anymore, that and instant respawn. The way they make the maps now is so any time anybody gets shot they always have a place to run away to when they are outskilled instead of dying like they should. I don’t like not getting kills because the person has to take cover. I should not get the kill because that person is better than me. I do agree that there should be some cover, but I think older maps got it more right.
