COD4 MW1 maps still cost MSP - they will never be free. Why don’t you find a copy of Halo ODST is you need all the map packs?
To my knowledge, if a DLC has achievements tied to it, it will NEVER be free, it is a rule by Microsoft, nothing Bungie or 343i could/can do about it.

your loss then. Halo 3’s maps are awesome. why not just buy Halo odst and you’ll have all the wonderful dlc maps for halo 3. a used copy is like $15
I can’t fathom playing Halo 3 without the dlc maps. it should be a crime.

Buy Halo 3 ODST, the Halo 3 Mythic multiplayer experience comes with it and brings all maps.
Also, I’m pretty sure Microsoft owns the rights, and determine the prices.
They aren’t free because Microsoft can still make a profit off it.

Wrong completely, as I said earlier, if a DLC has achievements linked to it, it won’t become free.
