Maps missing from matchmaking (Halo Reach Halo MCC) and map preferences + VETO

Ok it’s very simple. There are maps that are simply not available on Halo MCC for Halo Reach (and I bet for other games but I’m gonna focus on Reach for this post). For example, when queuing for Big Team Battle, I could not find the following maps which I enjoy : Abridged, Renegade, Utopie, Trident, Asphalt, Delta Facility and more. I don’t know why we don’t get to play those maps when queuing for a game. Just make them available again!

Also, I think we should either be able to have map preferences or be able to VETO maps. It gets really boring to play the same maps over and over, especially if you don’t enjoy those as much as some other maps.

One more thing: why does it feel like we barely ever get Forge maps? It’s so weird… For example, if there are 5 forge maps and 5 non forge maps, each map should have an equal chance of 1/10.

If you want only certain maps I’d suggest custom games browser. VETO doesn’t help the game in the long term…I still remember when it was in and all I ever saw was Halo 3 Valhalla and that got boring fast. I’m sort of glad we see less of forge maps because I remember paying for Reach dlc on the 360 and all I ever saw was annoying forge maps.

This is also the case with 4v4. There are 9 Forge World maps missing in the MCC from OG Reach. They are: Affinity, Chateau, Eden Minor, Enclosed, Midas, Precipice, Pulse, Renova and Treasury. I would love to play on these maps again.

Edit: I watched a video recently of people playing on Delta Facility in the MCC, so it is there you might just be very unlucky. As for the rest I’m not sure as I don’t queue 8v8 in MCC. I’d be curious to also know if some of the other maps that you haven’t mentioned are present in MCC such as: Mt. Lam Lam, Rasu and Wayont.

I get a chuckle everytime I see some one claim veto means more map variety. I get more map variety now than with veto or voting. What really needs to happen is expand the composer to be able to turn maps and game types on and off. Then players would get the games they want on maps they want. So of course if you are super specific like one game on one particular map your matching maybe slow. But if you aren’t as selective and just say turn off one map or one game type you don’t like your match making shouldn’t be slowed to much. But if you feel you are getting a map to often turn it off for awhile.

But with that being unlikely as it would take a ton of work to make work, I wonder if they can just have something in the matchmaking that you can’t have the same map for at least two games, that maybe easier to do.
