I was under the impression that when the full game released we would have access to more maps I think the maps that are in game are great but are getting stale due to there only being a select few, also the big team battle maps are quite small halo reach in my opinion had the best selection of maps and the big team battle maps were massive and so fun another thing I do like the battle pass system but I do believe we should be able to earn armor and gear like halo reach through the ranking system. Halo infinite I think could definitely benefit from more maps and game modes aswell
Any new (or returning) maps or game modes will probably be seen in 6+ months (around Season 2’s launch).
Once Forge enters the game in May, players will be scrambling to put in the classic maps we all want.
