Any news on voting for maps in Halo 4 during matchmaking? I don’t mind how it was in Reach, except for when there was an equal split vote and the uppermost option won out. I’m hoping to see either a rollout of different map selections to the previous choices or at least have one of the options chosen at random.
I know it’s not a big issue, but nothing got under my skin more then having to play a silly gametype on an even sillier map variant because 4 people liked ‘X’ on ‘X’ and the other 4 who voted for 'Y’on ‘Y’ had to play it due to ‘X’ on ‘X’ sitting on top of the voting options.
What would you like to see in regards to this?
except the whole top option winning BS I have to say it wasnt that bad.
Tie votes are the reason I never play online unless I have a party of at least 3 so I know that I at least have the majority to swing the vote away from undesired choices. I didn’t mind H3’s so much, but I detested AR starts so I usually just spammed X knowing I’d get a BR start next round, albeit on a map I hated. But now with Loadouts it’s not a problem anymore.
If I had to choose between the two, I’d rather a revamped Reach’s system.
> I want it to be like halo 3s, i don’t mind reach but they should fix the tying etc.
IMO I prefer that the upper one wons, that just have to vote between 2 maps and two Game Types like Halo 3. Maybe Halo 3 has a better Gameplay than Reach, but Halo: Reach has a better voting system.
I like Halo 3’s much better; it makes it so that even some of the unliked gametypes got a chance to be played. And I like the variety that offers.
There was only that flaw in the voting system. Even votes then the map/game on the top gets played. If there’s a tie there should be a reshuffle of the maps/games or randomly chooses one of them. I loved it when people -Yoink- about “I didn’t want to play this game!” “There are 16 people in this lobby and only one person voted. If you didn’t want to play it YOU SHOULD HAD VOTED, you have no right to cry about it.”
