Map voting a bad idea?

Always thought map voting as a bad idea. Anytime you allow this you are just asking for players to play the same map, over, and over, and over, and over.

Guess I’m just a fan of map rotation.

so 343 chooses what maps you play? how about no i like having the choice to vote. thats what halo is

Bring back the Veto option, A map is selected, You decide to skip, you play the next map that comes up. (Halo 3 style)

i agree i liked this a lot more

What I hate most is situations like this:

It’s an 8 player game. Map A has 3 votes, Map B has 3 votes, and Map C has 1 vote. Then some fool votes for Map C. People just can’t do math…
