Why oh why is map rotation so horrible? It seems like I ALWAYS get Skirmish at Darkstar. There’s 5 maps! lets use all of them.

Probably because you back out and restart the search instead of staying in the lobby. I find I get a better rotation when I do that.

I do that rarely but useful tip
No don’t do that. I got Arena banned for doing so. Have a friend invite you instead. It would work better that way. Or you can try switching your search options.
