Hi there fairly new to halo but loving it. Started with reach about six months ago then mcc and now I’m on halo 5. About the multiplayer for 5. This may be a really silly question but can anybody please tell me how I go into the maps buy myself so that I can explore them? Before I jump straight into team slayer and get my -Yoink- kicked for having no map awareness

Just go to a custom game solo and load it you mean right? If want variants have to get from folks file shares . Hope that’s the answer
Sorry I’m little clueless to all the multiplayer stuff as I’ve mainly played campaigns. Yes I want to run around the maps by myself. The ones that are likely to come up when you play team slayer. So are you saying I do this by going into custom games? Il be able to explore the arena maps?

Yes and Yes. Custom games allow you to explore all maps in H5. You are able to choose the gametype as well to also determine the different weapon locations and spawns.

Ah excellent thank you, been wanting to know this for ages. Sorry one more question. Can I do the same thing on reach? I still very much enjoy playing that game too and it would be good to have better map awareness on there also. Again apologies for my noobness

You can do this in any Halo game, Reach included.
