Map power-ups?

When I think of Halo, I think of an Arena shooter similar to Quake 3. With Guns you pick up and not spawn with. Everyone spawning the same. Jump pads, man cannons, Shields, and Actual skill. Power ups are also part of the map control.

When we spawn in HAlo 3, we always say, “Alright, You go get shotty, You go get Rocks, I’ll get Camo, You get snipes.” In reach… Nobody does this because it’s like there is no map control!

Are there gonna be pickups like Active camo and overshield again? Something we actually have to fight for? instead of just spawning with it :P…

We won’t know until they say. Maybe in the Game Informer May issue they’ll go into detail about things such as this. It would be great to see a return of the overshield and invisibility as pick ups.

Would love for AC and OS pick ups to return, and hopefully some cool new ones too.

Have to agree with you. Everyone seems to just randomly move around the maps now, not coordinated map control like in Halo 3.

I don’t get why Bungie didn’t take power ups further. They could have had more unique awesome abilities.

I hope they return in H4 as well.
