Maps and map weighting need a major overhaul. Hear me out. I almost exclusively play streets. More than 50% of my matches are Streets. Behemoth is one of the best maps. I’ve played it once in almost 50 games.
Why?
Because Behemoth only has one game type. When the match pool ist 7 maps with 1-4 game types on each map, and Behemoth only has ONE ticket in that pool, it will almost never get played. Contrast that with map like Streets or Recharge which has 3 game types (slayer, oddball, strongholds) and they come up way more often.
The system should have 7 choices - each map getting an equal choice. After the map is chosen, the system should select a game type that is eligible to be played on that map. As it stands, there are several maps that get next to no playtime.
Also, why is there no stronghold on Behemoth or slayer or oddball? Why just CTF?
