I spent the money on the new map packs and I haven’t gotten to play any of the amazing DLC maps in matchmaking. Also, where is the invasion game-type? I was looking forward to forging an invasion map with the vast amount of forge resources yet cant seam to find the invasion game-type. One would think the game with aliens surely has a forge/multiplayer invasion game-type.
Also where are the ranked playlists? Ranked playlists are awesome. Halo 2, Halo 3, one would think Halo 4 has ranked playlists.
Research a game before spending money on it, be an informed consumer. All of the questions you’re asking could have been solved with 30mins of Google. I hate to see people suffer over something they can avoid. Please, do some sleuthing before buying any game. Do not assume, make sure you know before you buy.
The playlists section will tell you where the DLC maps are located. There is currently no DLC Playlist.
Invasion was long known not to return from Bungie’s last Halo game. Firefight is also gone.
There are many games with aliens that do not have the Invasion gametype. Or Forge.
There is no Ranked playlist in the traditional sense.
Aside from that, Halo 4 is still an enjoyable game.
We should vote with our wallets the next time 343 puts out a Halo game. Everything that made the previous Halos spontaneous and fun has been removed. I don’t know why a Dev would sell you map packs and achievements for those packs and then remove all dlc playlists so you cannot play or earn dlc specific achievements.
The file browser is still broken. Matchmaking games constantly interrupt from dropout or suffer embarrassing amounts of lag. Maps are too small and banshees ruin big team altogether.
343 received their last dollar from me. I think its time we let halo go. Bungie is gonna be back in action in 6 months. Can’t wait to play Destiny with the guys who started all this and support their games and make multiplayer worth playing.
