do not fear i just got off the phone with microsoft and they said that if you did not buy the map pass or get the LE or buy the map pack then they are aware of this and will be removing this content from those who download this content for free when they are not intitled to it. they are aware and and will lay out punishments towards those that have exploited this

So that tweet from Xbox Services was BS too? Because the company screwed up, it’s not the consumer’s fault. I’m sure they can (and maybe will) remove the DLC, but the tweet seemed pretty legitimate to me, especially because a company that screws itself has no right to take it out on the consumer.
That’s major BS. Microsoft won’t ban anyone for this, it was a popup that came up the second you started the game, why would you get banned? I’m just sensing you’re just a little mad and want to troll some.
Why dont you go look at all the twitter posts from microsoft saying that there will be no bans cause it was there fault. Why would they ban you for downloading something free off the marketplace.
People who didn’t buy the map pack already have it and are playing… I BOUGHT the limited edition, redeemed my code from day one, and I can’t even get the map pack…
How do you know if you got it illegally? I downloaded it today. and I am not sure if I have a map pass. I think I do though.
