Hey,
I had a look at the maps on YouTube and the Noble Map Pack didn’t stand out for me really but I love the defiant map pack and wondered if there is any point buying it now or waiting till they get reduced in price? I’m not bothered about the achievements and I love what they have done with the scenery and buildings etc.
Is it worth it and how do I know I will get to play them 100% of the time?
I’d say Anchor 9 is worth the $10 price tag alone. But to me, both are fun and you can play the Premium Slayer/Objective playlists to ensure you get your fill of the new maps in match making.

Anchor 9 is a bloody horrible map. When it first came out I thought it was decent, but now I know… it’s bad.
I can’t comment on Breakpoint, though, as it never comes up in BTB! So, unless you like playing invasion and play in the premium objective playlist (which you need both map packs, btw) don’t count on actually getting to play the damn thing in MM. Tempest is the only redeeming map in the Noble map pack; it’s good.
The defiant map pack has it’s faults, too. Condemned is a campers dream but Highlands is one of Reach’s best maps. Unearthed is useless unless you like playing firefight, which I definitely don’t.
Take your pick. Both map packs really only contain one good map in 'em. I don’t think they’ll be dropping in price anytime soon, so might as well buy one now. Heck, buy two!

I thought all three maps of the Noble map pack were great, and I don’t play firefight much, but the one firefight map in the defiant map pack is as good as the ODST firefight maps which were great. Condemned is an okay map, but it isn’t bad like you say it is.

That came in as Johnson’s voice from the Halo PC demo immediately when I read it. Strange…

Strange indeed.
I’m not paying $10 for 3 maps, and 1 I will not use as it is a FF map. Well, 2 maps.

I feel that anchor 9 of the noble map pack and highlands of the defiant map pack are the best of the bunch. However, the map packs in general add really great variety not found in the original reach map list. The defiant maps are the prettiest of the bunch though.
I bought the Defiant Map Pack earlier and I love it, well worth it in my opinion. Thanks for the comments and I might buy the Noble Map Pack when the price drops. I don’t play much firefight usually but the new firefight map, Unearthed is great, it’ll get me playing more
