So I just bought Halo CEA and it came with Halo Reach Multi-player, initially limited to the Anniversary map pack and playlists (understandable, not quite Reach’s ODST, but that’s OK), and I proceeded to buy the Noble and Defiant Map packs so for 1600 MS points they were reasonable, figuring they would work just fine since it was the Reach multiplayer, and they played great for the first night (I purchased them last night).
But then… I logged on this afternoon and they would not display on my maps list like they had the night before. So I restarted my XBox and that didn’t work, I cleared my system cache and that didn’t work, and I’ve done everything recommended by Xbox live Tech support except deleting and re-downloading the map packs. The reason I didn’t delete and re-download them is because they were downloaded during a free download period at 2 AM and outside of the free download period my cap is 250MB.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!
So you got the maps for free during a free period? My guess is that you would have for pay for them… But I don’t really know I’ve never heard of a free download period. And how do you have a cap depending on your time? Do you mean the download speed of your internet?

Free download period meaning a period of time free of where what I download does not count towards my cap. I paid for the maps.
Are you having this problem with a Halo: Reach disc, or with the copy of Reach that comes bundled with Halo Anniversary?
If you’re using Annie-Reach rather than Pure-Reach, then I’m pretty sure that the only maps it will ever work with are the Annie maps. Even if you buy the other DLC, I don’t think it’ll successfully load into Annie-Reach (and if it does, it’s probably a one-off occurrence).

Ok, thanks, I guess I’m picking up the rest of Reach this weekend.
