sooo i downloaded the crimson map pack a few days ago. now it is saying i cant use it. so basically im told that it was released on accident. well either way i downloaded it and should be able to use it. now when i try to play halo 4 slayer i have to wait 20 minutes to get a game because everyone votes for new maps. when that happens i get booted. how is this fair in the least. even though i didnt purchase the map pack i still got it from that download. so because you guys messed up i suffer from that? I dont think this is fair at all…i cant even enjoy the game i purchased because of this. you cant just make decisions without thinking of the outcome all the way through. soo now not only can i not take part in playing halo on my time off…but im missing out on the chance to win that truck…all because somewhere on your end you messed up. this needs to be fixed now. or refund me for my halo 4 game. and ill mail it back to you… cause its -Yoink-. ill go play halo 3 cause its not -Yoinked!- up.

They said initially that the free period was a “trial period” to test the maps before you buy them. Yes they messed up and they shouldn’t have been free in the first place, but now you need to pay for them if you want to play them. I also have friends that don’t have the maps and I do. When we play matchmaking together it never prompts to vote for the new maps (because they don’t have them). Try deleting them off your HDD if you aren’t going to buy.

I would say call support if you have already deleted the maps off of your HDD, but calling MS support won’t help your situation and 343i has no support phone #.
For some reason i had to delete it a few times…and reset a couple…but it did end up working. So thank you sir. Also you were right, and my apologies on the poorly phrased and grammatically horrific comment above.
