Your map pack is a pathetic excuse for DLC. All three maps are poorly designed and the artwork just seems lazy. In your trailor for the map pack it looked like every shot was from one map. I purchased the map pack pass having faith in you guys as company and I hate to admit that I’m extremely disappointed and regret my decision to preorder the map pack pass. I would like my money back. I really hope you guys don’t keep letting us down, you guys just seem like you really don’t care or even read the things we post. I have to say this is some of the most terrible customers service I have ever witnessed and you guys seem to be struggling to keep your customers happy.
I liked them a lot at first, still do but I’ve found each one has something ridiculous.
Wreckage - the hill, 6-8 people can cram in up there so easily and for whatever reason you blocked the hills from hogs and ghosts driving up easily(it can be done but is way awkward)
Harvest - its in 4v4, why…what…I don’t get it, takes 5 players to man the vehicles + sniper shotty for each team = 7 well armed Spartans on EACH team, wake up it’s 12 player minimal if you actually want even 1/2 of it used
Shatter - the sniper in the buildings directly under the best vantage points and the roof with the best cover, yup, almost always someone up there just playing team snipers with camo and a smart team uses the mantis to cover said building, in big team it’s a very dominating setup, I’ve both won and lost as a result of one team locking down the sniper at those 2 locations and just not being dislodgable
Pfft, try playing on Wreckage when you’re sightly colorblind and that yellowishy orange haze makes it hard to see stuff moving, or slow your reaction time down severely because you don’t know if you’re aiming at a teammate or the other team. never thought I’d dislike a map MORE than Ragnarock. >.>
Sadly, I’m loving the new maps as well. My only problem is having Harvest in a 4v4 and Wreckage being too bright for my eyes. No matter what gamma adjustment I have it’s a killer depending on what part of the map I’m on. I literally have to stay on one side of the map or face the blinding light.
Still all better then Abandon and Solace in my opinion. Each time I get those maps on slayer or something else I literally sob a bit inside. The New DLC is actually making me like Halo 4 just a bit more then I did when it came out. Then again, opinions are opinion. Unlike most of the people, unless I see clearly what I’m getting out of preorder, I don’t do it. I held off on the map pass due to not seeing the maps early. And am kind of laughing at people who don’t do the same and then complain about hating it. Heck, not like the pass went up over ten dollars then it was when you could preorder the game no?
Sadly, I’m one of those ones who’ll be sad to see her free map pack trial go away on tuesday. But then again, Xmas is right around the corner and I’ll be getting the pass. shrug
Yes, I’m not a fan with the way 343 has been doing some things. But at the same time, as a avid mmo player. I understand change, and unlike some I can adapt and still adore it as a new thing. I miss the old Halo yes. But then again, Love the new.
