Probably the best map on reach.

Good map but needs some tweaks. The sword should spawn right off start. And there should be another power weapon (CR is not a power weapon) at ring 1 or something. Maybe the GL.

If they did, I would move sword to bottom ring and move GL to swords spawn.
If the CR isn’t a power weapon, its at least a good way to counter a sword.
One of the only balanced maps in Reach. It’s amazing.

Needs to be more like MLG Zealot tbh…
Block off the outside and the lifts to get out there, add the teleporter to bottom Gold. Don’t have to use the MLG weapon set for “social” but the current set would need to be moved a bit. Would love to have a Grenade Launcher on it though.
Sword to bottom middle, Grenade Launcher to where Sword normally spawns, (assuming you keep Concussion) place it top gold.
Use MLG’s weapon set and locations.
Sniper at top Gold would be nice.
Move Sword to bottom mid, place Grenade Launcher where Sword spawns.
I think this map really needs a sniper with 12 rounds.

I feel that if sword were to spawn off start, shotgun at top gold would be a good addition, opposite sides of the map would both spawn close counter weapons. And imo i would get rid of the concussion rifle and replace it with sniper
This map is terrible. The weapons and spawns need adjusting. The red and blue team spawn right in front of each other. It turns into grenade fest at the beginning.

MLG Zealot is a much better version to use, with both the Sniper and GL. It takes more skill to use a sniper at mid-range, and controlling it means being able to lock down opponents in a base or the holograms.
Blocking off space makes the map more balanced and prevents players from simply fleeing to it, or accidentally committing suicide up there. The lift to top gold in MLG Zealot would make locking down the top a bit harder.

They should just replace “Arena Zealot” with MLG Zealot. It just plays 10x better. They should also put a shotgun in ring 1.
I really dislike the default zealot because space really just ruins the whole map. =/
Yeah they should. But in all honesty the maps not as bad as some others that are in Reach.
This maps spawns needs some major tweaking in the objective playlist.
Please note the spawn camping in these following videos. Also note that they still spawned at the bottom of the base even when opposing players were standing in the same room.

Zealot
I love the current revision of Zealot. I do miss the space battles sometimes. In any case, the new zealot setup is balanced and well thought out. The spawning has been great when I played, and space allows for quick movement throughout the map, as well as a short brake to recover your health. This can be abused sometimes when a jet-packer just goes up to regenerate health every time. For this, I think bullets should be able to go through the shields. I don’t know if that is possible though. Other than that, I think this map is great and it is one of my favorite Team Slayer maps.
