Map Boundaries (Specifically Behemoth)

So I was using the grappleshot on Behemoth to explore a bit, but I realized that when I would go on one of the structures using the grappleshot there would be this countdown saying that I was “out of bounds.” I realize that this has been a thing in Halo maps since Reach, but it bugs me especially here since:

  1. The grappleshot inherently encourages nonlinearity and climbing. Putting an out of bounds countdown on a pillar that seems like it wouldn’t be out of bounds destroys that and discourages exploration and finding new fighting ground.
  2. It removes diversity of combat. What if someone wants to assume a “sniping” role or get a jump on someone? What if a player wants to pursue said sniper and take him out? It creates more interesting scenarios and is ultimately more entertaining. When you have a mechanic that allows you to climb structures in a level, it’s important to let people actually climb with it, otherwise you might as well not allow the equipment to be on the map at all.

I understand there have to be boundaries in a map sometimes, but if you aren’t going to remove them could you at least move the boundaries further out so it seems less arbitrary? It’s just more fun if people can go wherever they please, at least in my opinion.
