Has anyone tested which one is the strongest when fully upgraded? Not who does the most damage but who would win if you pitted them against each other 1v1.
I think the warthog or mantis would be the best. The marauders are terrible because their DPS is so low. When upgraded with thick hide they can have some durability but that really doesn’t matter if it can’t do any damage.

Haven’t tested the mantis in any situation.

When Johnson came out we did a test and the mantis crushed the hog but they still arent super viable because they are so slow. Plus the shield and the painting aspect makes them kill hogs, but hogs are still better because they are so fast

I would expect the Mantis to win that one. Like as was said earlier, Marauders just don’t put out enough damage.

Didn’t try it although I’d imagine the marauder would lose since the mantis slammed the hog 1v1, was the marauder vs hog match close? If it was then i think the mantis would win but I can’t be sure and don’t want to be wrong

I have used marauders effectively a few times, against unsc tanks paired with hunters the marauders will slow other units down hey allowing the hunters to over take them. Like I said tho I’ve only managed to make it work a few time would suggest it is viable

Overall, just not the most worthwhile unit.

They are, although I don’t think they’re bad as an unit, the issue is just how easy they get countered.

They’re basically only useful if all your opponent has is Rangers or Snipers

Hopefully hunters and cyclops get nerfed. Infantry rules the game for the most part.
