To quote, “time was running out and he had just climbed into a vehicle that is a straight-up death dealer. He was about to square-off against three other players who were rushing him with small arms (not sure what they were thinking). They didn’t have a chance, it was a certain win for him… until an ordnance drop fell from the sky: The Binary Rifle! I raced to it, drew it up and fired on two of the other players, instantly turning them into ash. I reloaded, fired on the third for another instant kill, and then fired on my nemesis to secure the victory. And his -Yoink!- exploded into a million pieces. Such a crazy ending to such a crazy match.”
The map in the discussion is likely the remake that I will leave unnamed. Given that is a BTB map, do you think the vehicle in question could be the Mantis? This was likely written up before its official announcement so that may be why it is censored.
I just don’t see a Ghost or something being as threatening to three players. And even then why would he have to censor any of the vehicles that have been known for months?
A lot of us are really hoping that it is the mantis, me included. However, at least we can take away from this is that we have a great powerful new vehicle coming. Mantis or not, we should be happy.

If the Mantis is in, I could see it being used on the map we shall not mention, right in the middle off to the side where a certain vehicle used to spawn.
Kept that vague enough to avoid any spoiler or leak talk I would presume.
If that’s in Multiplayer (Awesome!), then the Mammoth has to be in Multiplayer also!

That could definitely work for BTB. However, I think they’re just going to keep the map as original as possible.

To clarify:
They said that, specifically, the Mech located in the middle of Adrift, aka the Cyclops Mk. II, is not driveable in Multiplayer.

I think he may have been referring to the recent magazine article scans that were in French. Some people reported that it said that it was only usable in campaign, but the only thing that I could find that was said about it was that it was called the Mantis.

It’s seems so obvious now given the leaked screen I saw.
There are vehicles though that could fit that description: Both the Scorpion Tank and Banshee are straight-up death dealers.
