Okay so the game is gold and this is obviously nothing I would expect from halo 4 now but when you saw the Mantis for the first time, did anyone else wanna see someone run a warthog into its legs and make it kiss the dirt AT-AT style?? I mean the things a beast but I thought it would make for an interesting weakness… All powerful offence but you clip its legs and dirt nap! Just a thought… Comments? Queries?
I really like this idea, could be a huge risk/reward sort of thing since the Mantis would have a number of ways to take out the Warthog before it gets close, and even then it can melee.
Would probably be a pain to code in the hit detection for it though. Like, how much force do the legs needs to be taken down? Could a rocket propelled Mongoose do it? Banshee, Ghost, Wraith?

Wraith yes, ghost? well i doubt that one… I mean they can go pretty fast but I imagine it would be more like a stagger… like if you were flown into by a seagull… and a banshee upside the back of the head would be comical… the mantis is a unique thing though I’d like to see it coded better in the games of the future so it can walk over scorpions and what not… Damn good start but it’ll be nice for next gen halo
The Mantis has a stomp button, the most effective method would be PLASMA PISTOL, drive around it, get out and board it, blowing it SKY HIGH.
