Could just be a conceptual picture, as the Scarab is the 3D model from Halo 3 (Or Reach?), the Spartan-II over there looks like he has a Spartan-IV variant of the Mark IV armor and there are two brutes that look like Atriox there, as well. Those Mantises could always just be 2 Cyclops mechs, given that they look slightly different and have those fins like the Cyclops do in the game. But…I really hope the Mantis makes it in. Maybe the Wasp, as well.
It looks more conceptual than anything. As you said, looks like two Atrioxes, and one that could be an Atriox further back.
Four Spartans in the picture.
The Mantis look-a-likes are copies of each other but one is mirrored.
Same with some Warthogs and marines.
I like how the Spartan on the left is looking at the Spartan on the right.
Looks like “What in the world are you shooting at?”
It’s been speculated that the Infinity will show up at some point, those then could have Mantises and Spartan 4’s.

It’s certainly fun to speculate, still. But yeah, I hope we do get to see the Infinity, or Mantises and Spartan-IVs, at least.
They did reveal at the SDCC 2016 panel that Isabel will have access to all the new vehicles, weapons and armor designs that have been created by the UNSC since the SoF went adrift in space, so things like the new Cyclops, Scorpion and Warthog, the Jackrabbit, the Nightingale and the Kodiak all are newer designs that Isabel has access to and hands over to the SoF, so Mantises and, say, Mammoths and Wasps, are all very plausible in that context. Doesn’t necessarily mean we’ll get them, though.

I see, then it’s not far fetched to assume that newer vehicles would be usable in the game, as long as the SoF has the abilities to construct them.

Pretty much. But perhaps the Mammoth might be a little too far-fetched, given that the SoF is older in design and that vehicle is pretty massive…
It would be cool to see the Mantis, although I’d love to go toe to toe with a Scarab with being able to deploy a single Mammoth. But that concept art is pretty awesome regardless of if we see any of the Halo 4 vehicles.
Infinity being in full retreat it would make sense that they would go to the ark because its out of the galaxy. Obviously you can’t go home or any other major settlement so if they were smart it would be to go to the ark to meet up with the research teams there to plan something.
But yeah could be very well why they held out one human character and showed all the banished and there being vehicles built after they were in cryo.

Well the UNSC has had a presence on the Ark since 2555 (Hunters in the Dark Novel) This is four years later. It is pretty likely the UNSC brought stuff over. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had weapons seeing as there were promethean soldiers there at one point. They have to have defenses.

Yes I know, but I meant that the SoF has to have the capabilities of manufacturing the newer gear.
At that point the SoF has 28 years old stuff on the ship, if they can manufacture anything on the ship, or if we look at the buildings for that matter, those are the same.
Now if they salvaged the construction methods, then it’s a different story.
However, Mantises have for instance Shielding, that’s quite advanced.
Either the SoF created Mantises would be without shields, if they even can make Mantises, or the SoF would acquire the tools necessary to mass produce shielding modules for vehicles.

Why would they have to make them? Wouldn’t it make more sense for the UNSC to build manufacturing facilities on the Ark? Rather than build lots of equipment elsewhere and have it take 8 months. The ark looks like it has literal tons of raw materials, especially in that planetoid in the center. It would make more sense for the spirit to use that equipment, either on the ground or bring it onto the ship somehow.

That is if the UNSC has brought manufacturing capabilities to the Ark, it’s entirely possible they did, it’s entirely possible they didn’t.

It makes more sense for them to build them on the ark rather than ship things out of the galaxy. And it makes more sense for the Spirit to make them on the ground than take that equipment into the ship. I don’t see a reason that the Spirit needs to manufacture its own mantises. There is more than likely spare mantises on the Ark, as well as the facilities to repair, maintain and even build them.
