Give it a few years and you won’t have to imagine.
Isn’t that the truth…
I just find it a bit odd when someone says every single time they win a few they get stuck with a gold teammate in a diamond/onyx lobby. Especially when their game history is public, you look at it and see hardly any golds in the mix.
They claim they’re always forced to carry. Yet, a quick glance at hundreds of games in match history shows a very strong correlation between their own, personal performance and wins and losses.
The forced desync/hit reg stuff is a bit harder to evaluate. Even so, it would be easy to show odd behavior there with extensive video evidence. Recording game after game and showing a clear pattern where those elements become a much larger problem following wins or winning streaks.
Stuff like pure wins/losses would be less useful given a player winning or going on a winning streak should be running into stiffer competition. Somehow that gets provided as surefire evidence of foul play.
Hell, people make entire videos by plucking random clips spread across the interwebz with very little context. That gets turned into, “Someone made a video on the internet. See, it’s undeniable the game is rigged”.
If anything it’s sad. People will claw and grasp at anything and everything they think could even remotely fit what they’ve already determined is true. Instead of standing back, taking a more objective approach, performing the leg work to gather something substantial, and letting the results speak for themselves.
This happens way too often. It’s easy to understand why people might think the game is being manipulated in the background. Not for wins and losses, but rather just to make close games.
Just to clarify, I am not suggesting any kind of conspiracy theory here, but there are some very wonky behaviour patterns going on in this game. When the same pattern happens over and over, it can, and should, make you think something’s up.
I look at the way FOMO is used in many aspects of gaming, (Just to be clear, it’s used in many areas of our lives) and I could perceive a scenario where FOMO is used to encourage the player to chase winning games, a manufactured challenge, is it so far-fetched, why manipulate some components of a game and not all?
FOMO is weaponized, and is very effective at cultivating an addict. Another question for me is, why after all the lies, deception, and as I have mentioned, weaponizing FOMO should I give them the benefit of the doubt, when the truth is, the majority of companies have shown themselves to be veracious predators.
No tinfoil hat here, just a little distrust, based on a history and pattern of conduct, but with no actual evidence, all I am left with is a feeling, and usually feelings are just that.
Very well put.

But that’s precisely what SBMM is there for bo? So in return all you get is lagged games, where none of the team members represents similar skill level, and on top of that you have this “balancing” BS system… So no wonder is an awful experience for basically everyone and the game died, fully deserved.
