I got the Mangler challenge but the Heatwave one isn’t activating. Tried both fire modes and I’ve got a fair few Spartans with it in PvP.
I was able to get the Mangler kill to activate for me too.
I saw this thread the other day because I was having the same problem, but it magically worked for me, I was doing slayer on the launch site map, not sure if mode or map affects this bug in any way, but something to keep in mind if you’re still having the problem.
Hopefully they just fixed it behind the scenes.
I was able to complete the mangler challenge before the reset which required getting 3 kills. After the reset I got another mangler challenge that only required 1 kill. I played multiple matches with multiple kills with the mangler and it never counted. Finally, at some point when I kept keeping track, I completed the challenge. Same thing with other weapons as well. Finally, I completed a skyjack with the grapple, and have video and pictures to prove it, but never got the achievement.
