Mangler gun is absolute trash

Mangler is best used to get the drop on players, or use it by shooting it once, and then meleeing.

no its not the worst its useful and fun to use you just need more practice with it

now the dirsutpor on the other hand I find it useful despite the clams others have made on it

Mangler is great… If you want to get rid of a gun it should be that plasma carbine that thing is terrible.

This is my new favourite gun.
How dare you good sir or madam.

Besides the Mangler have the one shot one melee kill aspect of it. Its so satisfying to get a kill with it especially when an enemy is at long to mid range… sweet satisfaction

I’ve actually started warming up to the Pulse Carbine.
If you hit an enemy with a full burst, you can switch to the Sidekick or BR and kill them with one headshot.

I’ve been learning how to use the Disruptor and Ravager and they’re useful af but it definitely takes practice and I think I just hate the Stalker Rifle because I miss the beam rifle so much lol

It definitely feels like a lot of these complaints are people refusing to learn how the weapons work and how to best utilize them, and also to PRACTICE with them. Like, nothing you ever pick up at first will be 100% easy or perfect, so why would you not have to work at using a new tool efficiently? And if you still don’t like a weapon afterwards, I fully recommend teaming up with a friend who likes what you don’t and who doesn’t like what you like so you can swap haha

Well, for some of the weapons, you need time to learn how to use them, but for others, they really do need buffing, I think.
The Ravager works well as a one-burst, one-melee gun, but using it any other way gives disappointing results, at least for me.
The Commando is easy to aim sometimes, but for whatever reason, it’s all over the place at other times.

The Disruptor’s fine as it is though.
The Stalker Rifle feels difficult to aim, but it also seems to be better than the BR.

In this case your opinion is invaild. The Mangler’s alright, learn to use it before posting non-sense about it on the internet.

It’s a hard A tier weapon that might even be worth putting in S tier, unless you mean it’s trash BECAUSE it’s so powerful, in which case you have an argument for it being taken out or changed in a competitive setting because it’s a beast.

I hope they don’t change what it does, just change the spawn timers or placements on maps instead. Treat it like an actual power weapon since it more or less is.

The noob combo with it is way too powerful to ignore. It’s almost overpowered in that regards, because a good player in ranked is almost unkillable when they’re running it right. Also it’s a one burst beatdown, which can definitely be useful. People use it wrong and think it’s useless as a result.

Let me tell you, in Fiesta, a gamemode with every power weapon in the game readily available, the Mangler is a -Yoink!- powerhouse on small maps even compared to many weapons that rightfully should outclass it. combine it with a grappleshot, swing into CQC and fire off the one shot+melee instakill combo, it’s nuts. I was getting multikills with it, I was getting sprees with it, I’ve even beat out gravity hammers multiple times with it (cause they’re so slow to wind up).

Nah, the Mangler is great. refreshing really since so many other weapons are kinda trash (never pick up a ravager lol).

instead of talking about the missing magnum… youre talking about the only option in ranked games so far… youre just godlike with br and mangler.
halo infinite is eating itself by adding new trash weapons instead of keep the old but gold weapons from older halos like the MAGNUM. who thought about delete the springjumps in total and then adding the sidekick which is cool on short range but feels like a softair on range or midrange…
dissapointing ! just unfair to play with a br all the time. that what you should have criticised

If you use it like the Mangler, as long as the full burst connects, one punch kills.

I love how OP says ā€œoh thanks I’ll try it out thenā€

and then the next 50 posts are just people roasting OP

Not sure you have the right idea for some esports players… they are good players and all know the weapon is very strong. It’s arguably the strongest weapon in the game. Doesn’t deserve a nerf however I agree esports players tend to SEE how broken something is, and expects everyone else must preform the same way as them

What are you trying to say here?

I think the Ravager is still pretty bad, though the Stalker Rifle and Disruptor are alright. Commando feels meh, doesn’t really feel like it has a purpose in the sandbox.

OP.
There is literally a dozen or so threads arguing if it should be nerfed or left alone.

It is a great weapon that has long-range combabilities, and kills in three-to-four shots depending on if the Spartan is facing you or not. Melee strikes with the weapon are usually a one-hit kill if the Desync decides to not screw you over.
