Mangler. Worst gun in the game in my opinion. Get rid of it and give us something else.
You’re clearly using it wrong…it is in fact one of the strongest and most versatile guns in the game, so much so that I’ll always pick it up if it’s on the map. I don’t particularly like bringing eSports in to general casual play discussion, but a lot of the pros consider it to be so overpowered that they’re pushing for it be nerfed or removed from competitive play.

I, like you, once thought that the mangler was absolute garbage. But then I used it more and grew out of my noobish thoughts and ways and learned that it’s actually really great.
Especially in close quarters. It’s a killing machine.

I have used the Mangler to successfully defend the Oddball carrier more than once, especially at the tower on Livefire. If the carrier is on the stairs, the opponents can only see him and not you, so they are generally unprepared for the one-shot, one-melee combo.
Yo… It’s incredibly useful. I’d suggest going into the training mode and getting some practice with it.
It’s the closest thing we have to the Halo CE magnum. It truly is awesome.

You should. I really disliked it at first, but once you get used to the drop it’s actually a good weapon. Especially if you use it in close range.
Mangler is so strong it probably needs to be treated as a mid tier power weapon.

Try doing vs Bot matches to try it out. Should help you get a better feel for the weapon.
BR + mangler is my go to combo at the moment…2 Mangler shots breaks shield than tap to the head with BR (or just use Mangler for the headshot). Swap out the Sidekick for the Mangler and AR for BR then you’re good to go. I’m guessing only the n00b combo has a faster time to kill (excluding power weapons obviously).

Let me drop some knowledge.
The mangler’s melee does extra damage (bayonettes). Because of this it has some sick combos.
- BXR – Melee + body shot (don’t even need a headshot)
- RXB – Body shot + Melee
- RXLB – Body shot + Grapple + melee
Make sure to lead your shots a bit and don’t try to out-Battle Rifle someone with it. It’s a CQC gun.

Mangler supremacy gang
When I first saw it in the trailer I forced myself to hate it. It looks like a chintzy mauler knockoff that served as a brute sidearm with the way the bullets curved and the cheap look to it. Absolutely despised it.
In use though, it’s just a better multi function mauler.
Obvious troll post is obvious.
Next you’ll be saying ‘that Ravager guns is so op, I feel like I’m cheating when I use it.’

Mangler is my favorite gun, and I carried it through the whole Campaign each run, besides LASO because infinite SPNKr. I’ll always search for it on every map. It’s a fantastic weapon. You must be missing all your shots if you hate it.
I still struggle with it a lot, but earlier today in fiesta I managed to get 3 kills in a row with it, two of them against sword wielders. So I certainly can’t say it’s bad. But like many weapons in Infinite I just feel like I haven’t gotten the hang of it yet. So many weapons feel like they require a level of precision that is hard to achieve when playing with a controller.
But its the mauler AND halo 1 Pistol in one brute gun. Nice b8m8
