Hi,
I’d love 343i to eventually force players to download all of the henceforth free map packs for H4 (360) with the result that one has a larger variety of maps being played.
I basically only play BTB; hence, I’m tired of playing the same eight maps (Complex, Meltdown, Ragnarok, Longbow, Vortex, Exile, Settler, and Panic Station) over and over again.
This should be easy for 343i to do, and they already should have done it a year ago.
Would be nice that 343i sends a message reminding everyone that every DLC is now free for Halo 4.

Yes, but that alone wouldn’t be sufficient given I am aware of plenty of people who simply don’t like other maps, and would thus refuse to install their respective map packs at any cost.
So when those guys are in your lobby, you could never play on any other maps.
Informing gamers isn’t enough.
343i has to absolutely force players to download them all before ever playing H4 (360) another time, otherwise nothing will ever change.
Requiring the update is very reasonable. The maps are small, and free, so there is no excuse.
I certainly think this is a good idea, and I don’t blame you by being miffed at playing the same maps stuck in a loop…
