Nothing is more annoying than having an absolute scrub on your team in ranked who wont join the party chat, because it ruins any chance of coordinating an attack. Why don’t the devs force a mandatory mic restriction for ranked games? Similarly to COD search and destroy games.
Note: I am just sick of the lack of teamwork that xbox one users have, and game developers allow it to happen in games that are team oriented (Siege, wild lands, and Halo Wars 2)
Not everyone uses headset though. You can’t force people to chat if they don’t want to, but I can see why this might frustrate a lot of people who have to put up with bad players with little to no communication going on.

I would simply say don’t play ranked than. If people legitimately want to compete having a teammate without a headset can screw you. Play casual if you do not want to play and talk as a team.

I mean, that would be great, but also a bit harsh. Nobody is keeping you from finding your own teammates. Hell, I would play with you when I’m on most of the time
No mic, no teamate, yet still make diamond 3 with randoms.!
No that’s dumb how can you enforce that.
Plus the pay gap between the haves and have nots would be great. Some people are better solo player

Because a mandatory rule like that would make people stop playing.
It would be viewed as: Buy another product to play this game.
Just play games, find people with mics and send invite.

I have a very simple solution. Join the Xbox Live group “Halo Wars Nation”, then set up a request for party with Mic Required. There are over 4000+ people in the group so I’m sure you will find someone quickly. There is no reason to play ranked playlists without a partner.
