Does anyone know if 343 is going to make DLC mandatory in Halo 4? the DLC maps in reach were almost never ever used but at the same time it isn’t fair to force people to buy more things to play a game they have already paid for.
they could have a DLC playlist section…

They will most likely never do mandatory DLC for playlists ever again like Halo 3 because the people who can’t afford then or don’t want to buy them, generally outweigh those that do.
As for giving us an option for searching players which have downloaded the DLC, that’s pretty much gone too as they didn’t even give us an option to toggle join in progress or have search preferences for connection.
They assure us that they have some algorithm that is supposedly giving us better pairings with others that have DLC content, but i counted playing Breakpoint in invasion maybe 3 times in hundreds upon hundreds of games, and we all know this is croc and it doesn’t work.
Unless they have a miraculous change of heart, it ain’t gonna pretty once again.
