Malevian mantis spawned inside a building on Attack on sanctum. No way to destroy it, needs to be changed so that they cannot spawn mantises inside buildings

Also, you can drive your ONI hog straight into the building, and the Mantis AI will spin in circles as it can’t react due to the lack of space and your proximity to it. Very funny to watch.

It’s an intentional spawn area and while it sucks, it is possible to kill it. Most players need to be helping with REQs.

thats the whole problem with firefight…idiotic respawn times and horrendous boss spawns

Just get out of your vehicle and go in on foot…

You can park a mantis or tank on a nearby hill next to one of the second floor doorways and shoot from there. Or get in a ghost and drive up the ramp inside the building. Two players with ghosts are better. I have done it many times and got the kills.

Meanwhile a Phaeton will kill one of these things in 20 seconds, and that was when I didn’t remember how to use the missile barrage. It’s all about projectile type resistances and weaknesses.
