Making the ultimate Halo-room...

Hello, Halo-ers! I’m 16 and currently share my room with my six year old demon, I mean brother…

Buuuut now I put a wall up in the middle of the room, I have a room to myself now!!

So I decided to make the ultimate Halo-hidey-hole.

I have (let me count…) twelve halo posters, 4 of which I made myself, a large flat screen on the wall, a nice long line of Halo figures on a wall, and four (until next week :D) Halo books on my cabinet. Plus, my games are over my TV and it’s all very lovely.

But there’s one thing I’m missing… Speakers in my leather chair. My parents were less then happy when I dug out holes in the leather chair, but meh, it’s mine. I do what I want with it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now what I ask of you all is do you know of any good speaker systems for surround sound? I also have two large shelves to hold speaker in the corners of my room above my TV. But what to fill these shelves and holes with…?

Any good surround sound systems you can show me, guys?

Thanks!

Anything by Bose.

Did you just say that you made holes on your leather chair without knowing the dimensions of the speakers you’re going to put?

I’m not even gonna say anything :expressionless:

O.o

I’m not going to pretend that I know anything about stereo systems, but I would suggest wireless speakers. I only say this because they will be attached inside your chair, which I’m assuming will probably be moved around some. Given the implied dimensions of your room.

If it’s a stationary chair, like a recliner or something, I would say that a budgeted speaker set from Amazon would be good. They always have sales.

I can’t help you with any high end suggestions, but 7.1 would be useless for an Xbox 360.
360’s aren’t capable of decoding 7.1 audio, but they can support Dolby Digital which gives the illusion of full 7.1. Just make sure that the receiver you use is capable of using Dolby surround.

I completely agree.
Post pictures how the room ends up looking.

Definitely. Bose is the top-of-the-line and has ridiculously awesome quality.

Also, I demand pictures of your room, OP!

You have a six-year old Spartan in your room?

OT: I don’t know anything about Surround sound, so I can’t really help you =/
