Hey guys, so i have been a long time halo fan and have been very good at halo having a 43 in halo 2 and 50’s in halo 3, then reach came out. it was so different it made me mad BUT the one thing that really pissed me off was the bloom. I always said this would be a good game if there was no bloom. A friend of mine told me there is now no more bloom. if this is true i will be picking this game up today after work! also if its true what do you guys think of it?
Yes it is true, but its only on the mlg playlist(which in my opinion its the best that reach can get) And i personally love it!
Bloom is still in every Playlist except MLG (and occasionally Super Slayer if people actually vote for it. Bloom annoys me sometimes, but I still think Reach is the best game I’ve ever bought. I know some people hate it, but I have almost no problems with it. I still play it on a regular basis, and probably won’t stop until Halo 4 comes out.
They tried the game without bloom on Halo Anniversary for a month or two and the pistol was more powerful than the Rocket Launcher so they nerfed it. As for no bloom currently today, there isn’t any bloom in MLG, which I find is good although you have to be extra precise because the bullets go exactly were you want them to go.
There’s no bloom in MLG and it comes as a voting option in Super Slayer. Had you asked this question a month ago, you’d be able to play in a Zero Bloom playlist, but they recently got rid of it.
Title Updated playlists still have bloom, but it is reduced to 85% bloom, so it plays better than default.
