Making Infinity Slayer more competitive

Hey guys. I wanted to talk about how I think Ranked Infinity Slayer should be when the CSR is released. I think the following changes will help make it more competitive:

-5 Second respawn timer
-Map Ordnance:

  1. It is limited to the Initial Ordnance but they have respawn timers like in previous games (for example, the Scattershot in Haven reappears 2 minutes after it disappeared). This is the suggestion I prefer.

  2. Random Ordnance stays but everyone is alerted of the location of the drop 30 seconds before it’s arrival. This will prevent some guy getting a Binary Rifle spawning in front him while no one else knows about it (happened to me yesterday). While I think this would be more balanced than the current setting, I think this one should only be in social.

-Personal Ordnance:

  1. The choices are map-based and everyone gets the same choices (for example, Adrift has Railgun, Concussion Rifle and Energy Sword while Solace has Scattershot, Sticky Detonator and Beam Rifle)

  2. Everyone has the same choices but they’re different every single game.

  3. No Personal Ordnance

-Weapons take more time to disappear.
-Friendly Fire is activated
-No Join in Progress

What are your suggestions to make Infinity Slayer more competitive?

Removal of personal ordanance and AAs

That is all thats needed, that and a respawn timer.

Do this 343 and I will be happy to play your game

Without those two, it’s just Slayer Pro and we saw how popular Slayer Pro was. The settings should be as close to the base Inf. Slayer as possible.

Do you guys have suggestions about how 343 could make Inf. Slayer more competitive?

Maybe just preset loadouts instead of whatever you want. Then people can’t spawn with sticks and boltshots and everyone starts more even

I don’t think we’ll need preset loadouts since they’ll balance the weapons.
