Hey everyone. I am looking for patient and cooperative people to help body act for an upcoming machinima series. Last year we ran into some huge problems, such as my xbox hard drive breaking and my computers motherboard going out shortly after, so the series was canceled since people were no longer motivated to continue.
We are now deciding to start again with all new sets and scripts. If you want to help patience is the key. Because this machinima is being shot from a helmet cam perspective great choreography is essential for it to be good. So we may have to reshoot some scenes time and time again to get it right. I am not going to go “oh whatever, that is probably good enough” route. So it must very well done.
It looks interesting, so I’ll do it if I have the time. I’m working on my own machinima too, so I know how frustrating it is to get good actors, and when your stuff breaks at the worst time. I’ve also helped with Arbiter617’s Rise of the Spartans a little bit.
Is there a set date your filming?

There is no set date as of right now. We are trying to gather a good number of people before beginning since each filming session will require 16 people. So we are trying to get roughly 32 before beginning.
I will be free most nights after school till about 10:30 and all day on weekends if need
be i take directions very well so if there is a space free i would love to join

I work on a machinima series, and we have finished Season 2. I know how frustrating, challenging and tough it is to put everything together and get good help. I write, direct, capture, edit, and choreograph our machinima so it gets a little tiring but it’s worth it once you finish. I defiantly listen and my partner would too, so if you need me or us then I’ll see if I can swing in and help, cause it does look interesting and very professional.
We need about 10-12 more body actors before we begin filming. The reason for such a large amount of people is because not everyone can show up for film sessions, people may have to go once filming begins, and most frustrating of all some people just screw around so they earn themselves a kick. With 32+ body actors it allows me to be flexible and gather a group to film in a timely manner. With only 16 people or so it sometimes takes up to 30mins to an hour to get everyone in the lobby, and that is with a 2 day notice. We are trying greatly to avoid that to save time.
We will film next Wednesday or Friday depending one who we have available. Each session will require 16 people.
