Hello Everyone on halo waypoint I am currently in the making of a fan made halo story called halo reclamation. It consist of three perspectives, the Odst’s, the reclaiming throne, and Fireteam Blade. This story takes place in late 2559 and ends in early 2560. A brief summary of it is the Reclaiming throne (the new covenant) was a secret society much like the banished and heretics. The reclaiming throne returns every 50 years for a new age of reclamation where they become a step closer to their ultimate plan called the Divine transcending. When their plan succeeds they will be like gods and be able to bring others back to life, including the forerunners. The reclaiming throne were seen as heresy for helping the humans in their evolution occasionally to prepare for the covenant and the final age of reclamation. Adding on to that the reclaiming throne was led by an advanced society of prophets which I will get back to later. The Reclaiming throne this time was re-awoken by two gatekeepers which has never happened before. A gatekeeper is someone who was chosen either by luck or some other miracle to discover the location of the Reclaiming thrones lair, and reawaken them for their next age of reclamation. The two chosen Gatekeepers were Jul Mdama’s children Asum, and Dural Mdama. The two brothers had revived news about their fathers death by the Abiding Truth, Asum and Dural were enraged to hear both of their parents were now dead. They demanded that the Servants of the Abiding Truth should begin to hunt down the humans in stealth but they rejected the Idea claiming it was too risky. For this Asum and Dural turned on the Abiding Truth and became awal when the got on their phantom and used its turrets to fire on the already decayed and eroded structures the Abiding truth had been using as their headquarters which caused the structures to collapse, killing many Sangheili which caused chaos. They fled the planet and had a strange feeling that they needed to go to JanJur and they landed where their gut told them to. An Island much like the ones on halo 4 forge anvils appeared out of nowhere but only they could see it. They explored it and found a huge crack in the middle of the island that was filled with water. They decided to jump in and a air bubble surrounded them much like a energy shield does and protected them from the water. Not a drop of water touched them the whole way they fell through the huge body of water that looked as though it could go on forever. They eventually fell from the body of water and into a rocky corridor where the body of water was held up by an invisible barrier. They walked down the corridor and reached the end where they would do their Job of reawakening the Reclaiming throne.
In the Odst’s story the plot goes a little bit like this. A oni science frigate orbits a halo ring and gathers some flood DNA samples and data. They had covenant prisoners they had gathered as well. They began doing experiments and gather data only for two scientist one in his 40-50’s argues and the other relatively young in his 20’s. They argue about whether or not they should let an infection form infect one of the prisoners. The infection form manages to escape containment and infect most of the other crew members as they fight and beat each other up to stop the other. When they finish fighting they realize it is to late and face their fates. There is no contact from that frigate for a while which causes other oni frigates and towers to become worried and suspicious. Another oni frigate sends a Odst and Spartan team to investigate only for the Odst’s and Spartans to face all of hell that the flood has to offer.
